There is one habit that you need to break to go from being miserable to happy.
That is being accountable for your life as it is RIGHT NOW. Your life is a result of all your actions and decisions leading up to this point. It’s like that quote:
“Your life is the garden, your thoughts are the seeds, if your life isn’t awesome, you’ve been watering the weeds.”
Now, that is kind of a depressing thought in some ways, but in another way it’s liberating. By taking responsibility and accountability for your life, you take back control from all the people and circumstances that may have been dictating to you.
If you feel stuck or trapped, don’t worry…the first thing that needs to change is your brain, your attitude, your internal dialog with yourself. You can change these elements by reprogramming your brain (see the Actionable stuff or GET ON IT category for info on that).
If you can’t change your circumstances and you’re not happy, change your attitude and you would be surprised how quickly circumstances can change when you have a positive, proactive attitude.
